What the site does store

To make moving between pages smooth, the site keeps two small notes in your browser's session storage. Session storage stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is wiped when you close the tab.

• sw:home - which version of the home page you started on, so the "Home" links take you back to the same one.
• sw:curtain-handoff - the moment you clicked a link, so the page transition can carry over to the next page. It is deleted as soon as the next page reads it.

Neither holds any personal information, and neither can be used to recognise you on another visit or on another site.

Other services

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Google does not set cookies for this, but it does receive your IP address when the fonts load - the privacy policy explains this. The social links are plain links: nothing from Instagram, LinkedIn or GitHub loads until you click one, and from then on their own cookie policies apply.

Your control

You can clear or block session storage in your browser's settings. The site still works without it - page transitions simply start fresh and the "Home" links go to the default home page.

Changes

If we ever add cookies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent wherever the law requires it.
