About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website, run by Silica Works. They do not cover project work. If we work together, that work is covered by the proposal or agreement we both sign, and that document wins wherever the two differ.

Using the site

You may browse the site, share links to it and get in touch through it. You may not:

• try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or the systems behind it;
• use the contact form to send spam, malware or anything unlawful;
• scrape or copy the site's content or code in bulk;
• pretend to be Silica Works or suggest you are connected with us when you are not.

Our work and content

The design, code, text, images, video, logo and the Silica Works name on this site belong to Silica Works, or to the clients and partners whose work is shown with their permission. You may not copy, reuse, adapt or sell any of it without our written permission. Brand names and logos of other companies belong to their owners.

Enquiries and quotes

Sending a brief or an email does not create a contract and does not commit either of us to anything. Prices, timelines and availability mentioned on the site are a guide, not an offer. A project only begins once a written proposal has been agreed by both sides.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, including social networks and the sites of projects we have built. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

No guarantees

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be online, free of errors or up to date, and we may change or remove any part of it at any time.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Silica Works is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your information

How we handle personal information is set out in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
